Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 23, 2026

These Terms of Service govern all services provided by Grimy Grills. By booking, scheduling, confirming, paying for, or receiving service from Grimy Grills, you agree to these Terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking, scheduling, confirming, paying for, or allowing Grimy Grills to begin service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not book or receive service from Grimy Grills.

2. Scope of Service

Grimy Grills provides professional grill cleaning and related services. Our service may include inspection, scraping, brushing, degreasing, cleaning, disassembly as needed, and reassembly of grill components.

The exact scope of service may vary depending on the grill type, grill condition, level of buildup, accessibility, age, prior maintenance history, and safety concerns.

Grimy Grills does not guarantee that every stain, mark, odor, rust spot, discoloration, grease deposit, carbon buildup, or cosmetic imperfection will be fully removed. Some buildup, staining, rust, or discoloration may be permanent due to heat exposure, age, corrosion, material condition, or prior use.

3. Condition of Grill

Customer understands that grills are used appliances exposed to heat, grease, food residue, moisture, weather, rust, corrosion, and normal wear and tear.

Grimy Grills does not manufacture, install, sell, or maintain the grill prior to service. Grimy Grills is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Customer understands that some of these issues may not be visible until grease, carbon buildup, dirt, or debris is removed.

4. Service Risk Acknowledgment

Customer understands that grill cleaning is a restoration and maintenance process performed on used equipment.

The cleaning process may involve scraping, brushing, degreasing, disassembly, reassembly, and removal of heavy grease or carbon buildup. Because of this, service may reveal or contribute to cosmetic or functional changes, including but not limited to:

By proceeding with service, customer accepts these risks as inherent to the nature of professional grill cleaning.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Arizona law, Grimy Grills, including its owners, employees, representatives, contractors, and agents, shall not be liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, hidden defects, cosmetic changes, discoloration, rust, corrosion, weakened components, brittle parts, ignition issues, gas-flow issues, electrical issues, performance issues, component failure, or any condition that existed before service or is revealed during service.

Customer understands that cleaning a used grill may reveal damage or deterioration that was previously hidden by grease, carbon buildup, residue, or debris.

Grimy Grills shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or loss-of-use damages arising out of or related to the service.

This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customer agrees to provide accurate booking information and safe, reasonable access to the service location.

Customer is responsible for:

Customer is responsible for ensuring that the work area is free of known hazards, including unsafe structures, aggressive animals, electrical hazards, gas leaks, unstable surfaces, or any other condition that could create a safety risk.

Grimy Grills reserves the right to refuse, pause, or cancel service if the work area is unsafe or inaccessible.

7. Gas, Electrical, and Mechanical Components

Grimy Grills may clean around grill components, but Grimy Grills is not responsible for diagnosing, repairing, certifying, or guaranteeing gas lines, regulators, propane tanks, burners, igniters, electrical systems, wiring, lighting systems, or mechanical components unless a specific repair service is separately agreed to in writing.

Customer understands that cleaning may reveal existing problems with these components.

Customer is responsible for contacting a qualified repair technician, plumber, electrician, gas professional, or manufacturer when needed.

8. Repairs and Additional Work

Standard cleaning does not include repairs, replacement parts, installation of new parts, deep mechanical troubleshooting, gas-line work, electrical work, or manufacturer-specific servicing unless expressly agreed to in writing.

If additional work, parts, or repairs are recommended, Grimy Grills will seek customer approval before performing the additional work or charging additional fees.

Grimy Grills is not required to perform repairs or additional work and may decline repair-related services at its discretion.

9. Pricing and Estimates

Quotes are estimates based on the information available at the time of booking.

Final pricing may change based on the grill’s actual condition, size, accessibility, level of buildup, required labor, service location, or additional work requested by the customer.

If the price changes after on-site inspection, Grimy Grills will notify the customer before beginning any additional work that increases the quoted price.

10. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, electronic payment, or other approved payment methods.

Grimy Grills reserves the right to require a deposit before confirming an appointment. Deposits may be non-refundable if the customer cancels late, fails to provide access, or is unavailable at the scheduled appointment time.

11. Scheduling, Confirmation, and Cancellations

Appointment requests are not final until confirmed by Grimy Grills.

Grimy Grills may confirm appointments by phone, text message, email, or other communication method.

Grimy Grills reserves the right to reschedule, delay, or cancel service due to:

Customers should provide reasonable notice if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Grimy Grills may charge a cancellation fee, deposit forfeiture, or rescheduling fee if the customer cancels late, is unavailable, or fails to provide access to the grill at the scheduled time.

12. Before and After Photos

Grimy Grills may take photos or videos of the grill before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, dispute prevention, and internal business records.

Grimy Grills will not use photos or videos for public marketing purposes in a way that identifies the customer, customer’s home, address, or personal information without permission.

Customer may give separate permission for Grimy Grills to use non-sensitive before-and-after photos for marketing, social media, website, or portfolio purposes.

13. Service Results and No Guarantee

Grimy Grills makes reasonable efforts to improve the cleanliness and appearance of the grill.

However, results are not guaranteed. Final results depend on the grill’s age, condition, material, prior maintenance, exposure to weather, level of buildup, rust, corrosion, and heat damage.

Customer understands that some stains, discoloration, rust, grease, carbon buildup, odors, or cosmetic damage may remain after service.

Grimy Grills does not guarantee that the grill will look new after service.

14. Post-Service Use

Customer is responsible for inspecting the grill after service and following any post-service instructions provided by Grimy Grills.

Customer understands that grills should be operated safely and according to manufacturer instructions.

Grimy Grills is not responsible for damage, injury, odor, smoke, flare-ups, mechanical issues, gas issues, or performance issues caused by improper use, failure to follow instructions, manufacturer defects, pre-existing conditions, or third-party repairs after service is complete.

15. Customer Concerns and Claims

Customer agrees to notify Grimy Grills of any service-related concern within 48 hours after completion of service.

Grimy Grills must be given a reasonable opportunity to review the concern.

Failure to notify Grimy Grills within 48 hours may limit Grimy Grills’ ability to investigate or address the concern.

Grimy Grills is not responsible for issues reported after the grill has been used, modified, repaired by another party, moved, exposed to additional weather, or otherwise changed after service.

16. Right to Refuse Service

Grimy Grills reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any lawful reason, including but not limited to unsafe conditions, aggressive behavior, inaccessible equipment, unsanitary conditions beyond reasonable service expectations, suspected gas leaks, electrical hazards, unstable work areas, or grills that appear unsafe to clean.

If service is refused or discontinued due to customer-related conditions, Grimy Grills may charge for time, travel, inspection, or partial work already performed.

17. Communications

By contacting, booking, or receiving service from Grimy Grills, customer agrees that Grimy Grills may contact them by phone, text message, or email regarding appointments, confirmations, estimates, invoices, service updates, follow-ups, and related business communications.

Customer may opt out of non-essential marketing communications at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or services provided by Grimy Grills shall be handled under applicable Arizona law.
